2008 Master Gardener Training Program

McLennan County Master Gardeners are proud to welcome new interns to the 2008 training program. Classes begin June 4 and continue through September 17. Many outstanding speakers will be bringing a variety of gardening topics to the program, and the following three classes will be open to the public:

• July 2: Landscape Horticulture with Dr. William C. Welch
• August 13: Fruit and Nuts with Jim Kamas
• September 10: Lawn Care with Dr. Jim McAfee

Each class will be held at the Carleen Bright Arboretum, 1-5 p.m. A fee of $5.00 will be taken at the door, no reservations necessary. Contact the Texas AgriLIFE Extension Office, 757-5180, with questions.
